We focus on improving our understanding of the lithosphere/mantle system, including the general workings of plate tectonics and Earth's evolution. Research projects are here divided broadly into geodynamics and seismology, and more information (such as publication PDFs) can be found by clicking on the navigation bars above. You might also be interested in the Solid Earth Teaching and Research Environment (SEATREE), the iGMT GUI for GMT, or other data and software that can be found on the the downloads page.

We are always looking for motivated undergraduate and graduate students and highly talented post-docs from the natural and computer sciences. For research opportunities, please see the News page and check out my Ph.D. in the US FAQ.
